Privacy Policy

We do not ask for your location. We do not use advertising or analytics tools.

Both AI features are optional. Each asks your permission the first time, on a screen that names the company involved. You can withdraw either in Settings → AI & voice privacy.

When you use the typed Nura assistant, brain-dump organizing, goal boards or weekly plans, we send Anthropic what is needed for that request:

• the text you wrote, and any files you attach;
• the recent part of the conversation;
• a short list of your open items (title, type and date), when your message may add to or change your plan, so Nura can use them directly;
• for weekly plans: the goal, what you put in, its phases, and last week's tasks with whether each was done.

When you start a voice session, your microphone audio, the live transcript, and the app content needed for your request are sent to OpenAI to understand you and to reply in a generated voice.

• Recording happens only while a voice session is running. It stops when you end the session, open voice settings, or leave the app.
• While Nura is speaking, quiet sound picked up by the microphone (such as Nura's own voice from the speaker) is replaced with silence on your iPhone before anything is sent.
• If you change a voice setting during a call, the call restarts and the recent part of the conversation (up to about the last 12 lines) is sent again, so it can carry on.
• Language and speed settings are sent with each session to set up transcription and the voice.
• Voice samples in voice settings are made from a fixed sentence written by us. None of your content is sent to make them. Samples are saved on your iPhone after the first play.
• Nura does not keep your raw audio. The live transcript is shown during the call and is not saved. A voice brain dump, or anything you ask Nura to save, is kept with your account like typed content, and you can delete it.
• The voice you hear is generated by AI. It is not a person.

• Your content is sent only to carry out what you asked for.
• Neither company is permitted to use your content to train their models.
• Each provider processes and may keep data under its own terms and the retention settings we have configured. OpenAI's standard terms allow abuse-monitoring logs to be kept for up to 30 days. We do not promise zero provider retention.
• AI can get things wrong. Check anything important before relying on it.
• If you never grant permission, the manual planner still works: tasks, calendar, routines, habits, lists, notes, journal and brain dumps.

Nura gives you an invite code. When someone opens your link and signs up, we record that they accepted your code, so we can give you your reward. We store only the accounts involved and the date.

• We never see or store your friend's contacts, name, email or phone number. Sharing the link uses your iPhone's own share sheet, which does not tell us who you sent it to.
• We do not email or message anyone on your behalf.
• A reward is a discount Apple applies at purchase. Nura asks Apple to apply it by sending a signed request with your account identifier, the product and the offer; Apple handles the payment.
• Up to four invites count. Nothing about this is required to use Nura.

Only the services that make the app work, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase — stores your account and data, and runs our server code.
• Anthropic — processes typed AI requests, as described above.
• OpenAI — processes voice sessions and makes voice samples, as described above.
• Apple — sign-in, subscriptions, the App Store, and applying a referral discount to a purchase.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.

That is the whole list. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

• Calendar sync writes your scheduled items into your own calendar. We do not read your other events.
• Routine alarms, reminders and recipe step timers are scheduled on your device. We do not run a notification server.
• Voice settings and voice samples are stored on your device.

• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show a small part of your own plan on your device. That content is drawn on your iPhone and is not shared.
• Siri phrases such as “Talk to Nura” open the app. Apple processes what you say to Siri under Apple's own privacy policy, not ours.
• Shortcuts and widgets use the same sign-in and the same permissions as the app. They give nothing to anyone else.

• Bug reports: When you choose to report a bug, we collect the description you write, an optional screenshot you attach, and basic device details (app version, iOS version, device model, language). We use this only to fix problems.
• Crash and performance data: Nura collects anonymous crash and performance diagnostics provided by Apple (MetricKit), such as the type of crash and the app version. This data contains no task content, notes, or personal messages.
• Cancellation feedback: If you cancel your subscription and choose to tell us why, we store your selected reason and optional note to improve Nura.
• Refund requests: Refunds for Nura purchases are handled by Apple. When you request a refund, Apple may ask us for information about your use of Nura, such as whether the subscription was delivered and how much of the paid period was used. By using Nura, you agree that we may share this usage information with Apple solely to help Apple decide on refund requests. We never share the content of your tasks, notes, or journal.
• Emails: We may email you about your account, such as a confirmation that your subscription was cancelled. You can contact us at support@mail.nura.sale.

• Turn AI off: Settings → AI & voice privacy. You can withdraw each permission separately.
• Remove a list or tool from Today: its menu → Remove from Today.
• Delete a brain dump or journal entry: open it → Delete.
• Clear all your data but keep your account: Settings → Clear all data. This also removes lists, trackers and goal plans.
• Delete your account: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and everything in it, straight away and for good.
• Sign in with Apple: if you revoke Nura's access or delete your Apple Account, Apple tells our server and we delete your Nura account automatically.
• Cancel a subscription: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Your content is kept until you delete it or delete your account. Lists and tools you finish or remove from Today are kept with your account, so Nura can reopen them. They are removed when you clear your data or delete your account. Deleting your account removes everything immediately.

Nura is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will help. You can delete everything yourself at any time from Settings → Delete account.

If you are in the EU or UK: we process your data to perform our contract with you (running the planner), and with your consent for the AI features, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → AI & voice privacy. Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase and Apple may process your data in the United States.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects the AI features, we will also ask again in the app.
